What is the Show Stomper?

Life, as prism'd through Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and/or theories of knowledge, history, UFO-ology, literature, philosophy, or not-ready-for-primetime humor/sex/comedy. Award-winning journalist and author Eugene S. Robinson's work has appeared on TV, film and in print for the better part of the last 30 years. And on stage with the band OXBOW. It's an acquired taste. Which is just a fancy way of saying: it'll grow on you.

Why Subscribe?

Subscribe to get full access to the shows and website. Never miss an update. If you’ve been watching or listening on YouTube, SoundCloud, Facebook, Apple, Spotify, Amazon Music, Audible, Pandora, SiriusXM, Stitcher, iHeartRadio, or some of the podcast apps, the RSS Feed carrying all of Eugene’s Stomper episodes has changed to Substack.

On The Stomper YouTube Channel:

Currently, the only way to see the entire show for free, is on YouTube by tuning in to the LIVE broadcasts every Sunday and catching the show as it is streamed live to the channel, where you can also participate in the live chat with Eugene. When Eugene goes off the air - the show will go ‘private’ - meaning it will no longer be viewable on YouTube ever again. So, if you are a fan of participating in the live event, be sure to tune-in to the YT channel every Sunday. Click that notification bell so you will be notified when he is about to stream live.

On The Stomper Facebook Page:

We will no longer be posting the entire enhanced video of the show for free at the beginning of the week to the Stompville fb page. Instead, we will be posting show links which will direct you to the full length professionally produced video & full length professionally produced audio versions of the show found right here on the Eugene S. Robinson Show Stomper Podcast Subtack page. There will be a short “commercial video”, and a show graphic posted to the stompville fb page each week for you as well.

On The Stomper SoundCloud & RSS Feed Podcast Platforms:

SoundCloud has gone away for good. Sorry about that, Substack is where we are now hosted for our podcasting platform.

But - we will be posting a free enhanced portion of the show in audio (15-ish minutes) everywhere… but for the full professionally produced show in AUDIO format, you will need to visit us here on Substack as a PAID subscriber. The version for paid Substack subscribers will be in HD digital sound.

The Stomper Video Episodes

The professionally produced Stomper VIDEO formatted episodes have two versions, one is mentioned above (the free LIVE show on Sundays on YouTube) and the enhanced video production, which will be posted to this Substack page at the beginning of each week on Mondays, or Tuesday at the latest, if something comes up for our Producer. All FREE Substack Subscribers will get a brief glimpse of the show (approximately 20 minutes). To catch the ENTIRE broadcast, we will be asking you to pledge your support and become a PAID Substack subscriber. Patreon numbers are at an all time low and the show needs to pay for itself to keep on going. It costs approximately $435 a month for production and syndication right now; which comes straight out of Eugene’s pockets out of the love in his heart for you guys.

Exclusive Archives

We now have a section tab and RSS feed for every archived episode of the former BJJ Breakdown in video and audio formats.

Over time, we will also have an archive of every former episode we can retrieve from the previous hosting platform of KNUCKLE UP! - in video and audio formats, in it’s own section and RSS Feed.

The full Show Stomper Archives in both video and audio will also be available to PAID Substack subscribers. One section houses Episode 1 on up to Episode 250, and the other Episode 251 on forward… if we hit 500 shows we will create another section!
